The history of the analysis center

Founded in 1976 on Via Anzani in Verona at the “Villa Lieta” nursing home, the Gallieno Analysis Laboratory is today one of the most renowned clinical testing centers in the entire Veneto region.

Below is a brief history of the laboratory:


  • in 1987 it was transferred to via GC Abba 12/A in Verona;
  • in 1987 it acquired the collection point of S. Lucia (Verona);
  • in 1996 it acquired the Castel D'Azzano sampling point;
  • In March 2013, the Gallieno Clinical Analysis Laboratory joined the network with two laboratories operating in Verona and its province (Prot. n° 245911 of 10/06/2011 of the Veneto Region): the A. SABIN srl Laboratory (Verona) and the San Martino Srl Analysis Laboratory (San Martino Buon Albergo).
  • In March 2023, the Lab3 Verona SCARL Consortium was authorized and accredited by the Veneto Region as a type B network laboratory where all the tests of the network laboratories are performed in via Golosine 2B in Verona.

Locations for acceptance and collection

The Network Laboratories maintain the locations where the following are carried out:


  • acceptance and sampling (pre-analytical phase);
  • production and collection of reports (post-analytical phase).


The Responsible Directors and technical staff of the above-mentioned Laboratories continue to work at the Network Laboratory.


We have currently implemented a quality system according to ISO 15189, specifically for medical analysis laboratories, to align with the European standard.

Thanks to the staff's diverse knowledge, by contacting the laboratory you can request chemical tests ranging from blood tests to urine tests, and in particular:
  • bacteriological tests;
  • check up for celiac disease;
  • endocrinological check-up;
  • check up for hypertension;
  • check-up for sexually transmitted diseases;
  • thyroid check-up;
  • semen tests.
